Casi al borde de anunciar en los diarios: “Se busca Secretario General para prestigiosa organización internacional” estuvo la Organización de Estados Americanos (OEA). Hacia mediados de marzo, su Asamblea General se reunirá de manera extraordinaria para elegir por aclamación al único candidato en contienda, el Ex Canciller uruguayo Luis Almagro. Así se cerrará el que quedará para la historia como el más lánguido, aburrido y penoso proceso de designación de quien dirigirá, por cinco años, los destinos de una de las organizaciones regionales más antiguas del mundo.
